WPL 2026: Wareham Reflects on Making an Impact With Bat and Ball

Sahibzada Farhan was the standout player for Pakistan during a match against Namibia on February 18 in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 in Colombo. His performance was notable not just for his batting but also for a mishap where his bat flew out of his hands.

This incident occurred in the fourth over when Namibia’s Jack Brassell bowled a wide delivery clocked at 136.4 km/h. Farhan swung hard, losing grip on the bat, which flew behind the square leg area. Despite this error, the ball passed the infield, allowing Farhan and Saim Ayub to score two runs.
