The innings started slowly for India A Women. Nandini Kashyap managed only 8 runs off 15 balls, while Vrinda Dinesh scored 19 off 17 balls with four boundaries before being dismissed. Anushka Sharma struggled with 8 from 12 balls, and Minnu Mani was out for a duck, putting pressure on the team during the middle overs.

The turning point came with a strong performance from Tejal Hasabnis. She scored an impressive 51 runs off just 34 balls, including three fours and two sixes. Her controlled aggression helped the team recover from early setbacks. Radha Yadav also made a significant contribution with 36 runs off 30 balls, hitting three fours and a six. Together, they formed a key partnership that increased the scoring rate as the innings progressed. Despite losing wickets towards the end, India A Women finished at 134/7, a score that proved to be more than enough for the title match.

For Bangladesh A Women, Fahima Khatun was the standout bowler, taking 4 wickets for 25 runs in four overs, effectively breaking partnerships and limiting India A Women’s scoring. Fatema Jahan Sonia and Farjana Easmin each took one wicket but lacked consistent backing at vital moments.

India A bowlers secure the win

Chasing 135 for victory, Bangladesh A Women started poorly. Ishma Tanjim fell for just 3 runs. Although Shamima Sultana scored a quick 20 off 15 balls, including three boundaries, India A Women continued to strike regularly.

Sultana attempted to stabilize the innings with 18 runs off 30 balls, but wickets fell at the other end, making it difficult to keep up with the required run rate. Sadia Akter scored 10, and Fahima made 14 off 11 balls, but Bangladesh A Women never seriously challenged the target.

The bowling unit of India A Women performed cohesively. Prema Rawat excelled with figures of 3 wickets for 12 runs in four overs, effectively dismantling the middle order. Tanuja Kanwar impressed with 2 wickets for 11 runs in 3.1 overs, applying continuous pressure. Sonia Mendhiya also took two wickets, while Saima Thakor, Minnu Mani, and Radha each claimed one wicket, leaving no escape for the opposition. Ultimately, Bangladesh A Women were bowled out for 88 in 19.1 overs, giving India A Women a decisive 46-run victory.
