Tickets for the semi-finals and final of the T20 World Cup 2026 will be available starting Tuesday, February 24 at 7 PM. Fans can secure seats for the first semi-final on March 4, the second semi-final on March 5, and the final on March 8.
The first semi-final will have a “floating venue arrangement,” meaning it will be held at either R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo or Eden Gardens in Kolkata, depending on whether Pakistan qualifies. The second semi-final is scheduled for Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
If Pakistan qualifies for the semi-finals, they will play the first semi-final in Colombo on March 4. If they do not qualify but Sri Lanka does and faces any team except India, Sri Lanka will play in semi-final 1 in Colombo. If neither of these situations occurs, or if India faces Sri Lanka, the first semi-final will be in Kolkata on the same date. If Pakistan reaches the final, it will be in Colombo; otherwise, it will take place in Ahmedabad.
Tickets bought for a venue that does not end up hosting semi-final 1 or the final will be refunded to the ticket-holder.
This announcement updates the schedule shared in November, which stated that Pakistan would play the semi-final and final in Sri Lanka, without addressing what would happen if Sri Lanka made the knockouts.
“If Pakistan qualifies for the semi-finals, Colombo’s R. Premadasa Stadium will replace Kolkata as the host of Semi-Final 1. Should Pakistan reach the final, that venue will also shift from Ahmedabad to Colombo. If India and Pakistan meet in the semi-finals, that match will be held in Colombo, while Mumbai will host Semi-Final 2 if India faces any team other than Pakistan,” the previous release mentioned.
