Punjab Kings (PBKS) have denied rumors about fast bowler Arshdeep Singh’s fitness ahead of their final league match in the Indian Premier League 2026 (IPL 2026). Arshdeep played in Punjab’s recent game against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in Dharamsala, where he took 1 wicket for 43 runs in four overs.
Following that match, reports suggested he might be unfit to play against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG). However, PBKS addressed these rumors through a post on Instagram, confirming that Arshdeep is fully fit and training with the team.
“Contrary to reports, we confirm that our leading fast bowler and highest wicket-taker, Arshdeep Singh, is fully fit and actively training with the squad. The team management is very pleased with his progress, and he is ready for this important match in the tournament,” PBKS posted on Instagram.
“His energy, rhythm, and commitment in practice have been very encouraging, and we are confident he will continue to play a vital role for Punjab Kings moving forward,” the post added.
