New Zealand Cricket (NZC) has announced the schedule for an upcoming series against India at home in October. This tour includes five T20Is and five One-Day Internationals (ODIs), which might be the last visit for Indian stars Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli as International players in New Zealand. The series will also feature two Test matches as part of the World Test Championship 2025-27 cycle.

The Indian team will start the tour with T20 matches. Rohit and Virat will join for the five ODIs starting on November 4 in Auckland. The second and third ODIs will take place in Wellington and Hamilton, followed by the fourth and fifth ODIs in Mount Maunganui.

“Hosting India is enormous for us, and our goal is to make this tour unforgettable for New Zealanders. This event will highlight not only cricket but also the cultural ties and growing friendship between New Zealand and India,” said Glenn Critchley, NZC’s chief marketing and commercial officer.

“The enthusiasm surrounding this team is incredible. Players like Virat Kohli and Jasprit Bumrah are expected to participate, so we anticipate a vibrant atmosphere during the tour. Attending an Indian cricket match is a must-see experience, and we encourage everyone to take the chance to be part of it,” he added.

“We expect all matches to sell out, so fans should register for tickets during the pre-sale to avoid missing out.”
