Bangladesh has revealed its squads for the upcoming three-match T20I series against Australia and a one-off Test match in Zimbabwe later this month.

The team has brought back fast bowlers Taskin Ahmed and Nahid Rana into the T20 setup after resting them during the series against New Zealand earlier this year. Rana is in good form, having taken four wickets in the first ODI against Australia in Mirpur. Bangladesh has already secured a 2-0 lead in the 50-over series with one game remaining.

Taskin will play his first T20I for the national team since facing West Indies in October 2025. He is an important player, being the third-highest wicket-taker for Bangladesh in T20s with 106 wickets from 86 matches.

For the Test side, Bangladesh has included regular white-ball player Towhid Hridoy. Although Hridoy has played 52 ODIs and 59 T20Is, he has not yet represented his country in Test Cricket. He has a strong average of 44.68 from just 16 First-Class matches.

The T20I series against Australia will start on Wednesday, June 17, following the ODI series against the world champions. Bangladesh will then head to Africa on June 23 for the Test match, which begins on June 28.
