Scotland Women secured a solid 41-run win over Ireland Women in Match 2 of the Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 at Old Trafford, Manchester, on June 13. Their captain, Kathryn Bryce, led with an all-round display, helping Scotland score 161/5 in 20 overs, while they held Ireland to 120 runs in 19.1 overs.

Scotland’s innings featured a steady half-century from Bryce. Ireland’s bowlers struggled against the Scottish batswomen, although Ava Canning impressed with bowling figures of 3/27 in her four overs. While chasing 162, Ireland struggled to build partnerships, losing wickets regularly. Amy Hunter was the top scorer for Ireland with 39 runs.

Kirstie Gordon and Katherine Fraser led the bowling attack for Scotland, each taking three wickets to halt Ireland’s progress. Bryce also made her mark with the ball, contributing two wickets to her team’s victory.
