The IPL 2026 final, initially set for M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, has been moved to the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, as announced by the BCCI on May 6.
The BCCI stated that local requirements for hosting the final in Bengaluru were beyond their standard guidelines, leading to the venue change for this significant match.
Following the league stage, which featured 70 matches, Qualifier 1 will take place at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA) Stadium in Dharamsala. This match will see the top two teams in the points table compete against each other.
Next, the action will shift to the New International Cricket Stadium in New Chandigarh, which will host the Eliminator between the third and fourth ranked teams. This venue will also stage Qualifier 2, determining who will advance to the final alongside the winner of Qualifier 1.

Eliminator – May 27 – New International Cricket Stadium, New Chandigarh
