Bangladesh Women have announced their squad for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 as they aim for their first title. Veteran player Nigar Sultana will captain the 15-member team, with Marufa Akter serving as her vice-captain.

Key players such as Rabeya Khan, Marufa Akter, Sultana Khatun, Dilara Akter, and Shorna Akter are included in the lineup. Additionally, Sobhana Mostary, Fahima Khatun, Juairiya Ferdous, and Taj Nehar have been selected. Sharmin Akter Supta, Shanjida Akther Maghla, and Fariha Islam Trisna will also participate in the tournament.

This will be Bangladesh’s seventh appearance in the World Cup, but they have yet to reach the finals. Before this year’s event, Bangladesh secured their place by winning the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 Global Qualifier and ended with an unbeaten record. Bangladesh is in Group 1 and will start their campaign against the Netherlands on June 14 in Birmingham. They will also face Australia (June 17), Pakistan (June 20), and India (June 25) before concluding their group matches at Lord’s against South Africa (June 28).
