Cricket Australia (CA) has revealed the updated schedule for the 2026-27 women’s International cricket season.

The new timetable includes an ODI series against Bangladesh and a T20 series against New Zealand in October 2026, along with another ODI series against New Zealand in March 2027.

This revision comes as a result of the ICC’s decision to move the 2027 ICC Women’s Champions Trophy from June to February.

Notable features of the updated schedule include a day-night ODI at Junction Oval against New Zealand on the Labor Day public holiday, Monday, March 8, which also coincides with International Women’s Day.

This match will mark the first international game played under lights at Junction Oval and is part of the festivities leading up to the 150th Anniversary Men’s Test from March 11-15.

The schedule changes were made after discussions with New Zealand Cricket and the Bangladesh Cricket Board to align with ICC requirements and the needs of the visiting teams.

Tickets for the women’s international cricket season will go on sale on July 23, with a pre-sale for CricketPlus members starting on July 20.

Peter Roach, CA Head of Scheduling and Cricket Operations, stated,

“Following the ICC’s recent notification about the Champions Trophy date changes, we’ve created a revised schedule that serves the best interests of the teams and fans. We’re excited for women’s cricket to play a key role ahead of the 150th Anniversary Test, including the historic first international match under lights at Junction Oval. We appreciate the cooperation from Bangladesh and New Zealand, especially New Zealand for agreeing to travel to Australia twice.”
