Alyssa Healy’s brilliance has been one of the backbones of Australia’s modern dominance in the women’s game, and her performances at the World Cup serve as proof of that.

Healy will be looking to lead Australia to consecutive World Cup titles for the first time since 1988 at this World Cup. She has already been a part of two Australian World Cup campaigns, 2017 and 2022, the latter of which was her first ODI World Cup medal.

Here is Alyssa Healy’s record at ODI World Cups:

Alyssa Healy’s record at Women’s ODI World Cup:

Innings: 14

Runs: 607 runs

Avg: 50.58

SR: 108.97

HS: 170 (138) vs England, Christchurch (2022)

50s: 3

100s: 2

Standout performance: 170 (138) vs England, Christchurch (2022)

They say big players stand up on the biggest occasions, and Alyssa Healy’s performances in the knockouts of the 2022 World Cup prove just that. Healy blitzed 129 from 107 balls in the semifinal against West Indies, but saved her best for the final.

After being sent in to bat by England, Healy took the game away from her opponents, thrashing 100 from as many balls before cutting loose. By the time she was stumped off Anya Shrubsole, Healy had scored 170 from just 138 deliveries, with an astonishing 26 boundaries.

Australia’s 356/6 proved simply too much for England to chase down as it secured a 71-run victory. Such was the brilliance of Healy’s knock that it consigned Nat Sciver-Brunt’s equally skillful unbeaten 148 to being a part of a losing cause, as Australia secured its seventh ODI World Cup title.
