Vaibhav Sooryavanshi felt deeply upset after the Rajasthan Royals (RR) lost a close match against the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at Eden Gardens on April 19. This was not the first time the young player showed emotion following a disappointing game.
Sooryavanshi is known for being expressive. In earlier matches, he has shown frustration with himself after getting out. It was tough to watch him sitting on the field after the game, clearly affected by the Royals’ loss to the three-time champions in the final moments, even after putting up a strong fight while chasing a low target of 156 runs. A member of KKR’s support staff was seen comforting the Bihar player post-match.
