The Indian Premier League 2026 (IPL 2026) concluded with Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) winning the title by defeating Gujarat Titans (GT) by five wickets in the final. This victory was the result of extensive preparation and impressive performances, leading to a historic achievement for RCB with consecutive podium finishes.

For most RCB players, this marked their second title, while others celebrated their third or fourth title, having previously won the championship with different teams. In the IPL’s rich history, some players have waited long for their first title, while others have consistently added more trophies to their achievements.

As another season wraps up, here are players who have won the most finals and hold the most IPL titles:

3. MS Dhoni (5 titles)

The renowned wicketkeeper-batter is considered one of the greatest in IPL history. Dhoni is a key figure for Chennai Super Kings (CSK), leading them to a joint-record five titles. Although he stepped down from captaincy in 2024 and did not play in IPL 2026, many hope to see him return in 2027 for another title run.

2. Ambati Rayudu (6 titles)

Ambati Rayudu has often gone unnoticed but has made significant contributions to his teams. He began his IPL journey with Mumbai Indians (MI), winning three titles in 2013, 2015, and 2017. Later, he moved to CSK, where he added three more titles in 2018, 2021, and 2023 before retiring in 2023.

1. Rohit Sharma (6 titles)

Rohit Sharma gained recognition after a standout season with the Deccan Chargers in 2009, earning the Emerging Player of the Year award. His career took off when he became the captain of Mumbai Indians during the 2013 season, leading them to their first trophy victory in his first year as captain. Under his leadership, MI became a dominant force in the IPL, securing five titles in just eight years.
