Indian cricketer Virat Kohli shared a supportive message with the Royal Challengers Bengaluru Women ahead of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2026 final against Delhi Capitals Women on Thursday, February 5. This message was posted on RCB’s official social media platform on Friday. RCB Women secured their second WPL title by defeating Delhi Capitals Women by six wickets in the final.

Under the leadership of Smriti Mandhana, RCB displayed strong performances throughout their title campaign, while Delhi Capitals fell short once again despite reaching their fourth WPL final. The final match took place at the BCA Stadium in Kotambi, Vadodara.

Mandhana excelled with a splendid 87 runs off just 41 balls, and Georgia Voll provided vital support with a steady 79 runs off 54 balls. Their partnership of 165 runs for the second wicket was crucial in securing RCB’s memorable victory, adding to Delhi Capitals’ disappointment in another WPL final.

“I hope you all are doing really well. Huge congratulations on reaching the finals of the WPL once again. I have been watching you play this season, and it’s been amazing to witness your high-pressure matches,” Kohli stated on X.

“You set the tone for us this season, and it’s no surprise that we were the first to reach the finals. Top of the table. You maintained the momentum from the start. The last few games were also a good time to reflect on what the team can improve moving forward. That’s what you all did in the last couple of matches as well,” he added.
