Pakistan Women will tour Sri Lanka for a white-ball series in July and August 2026, as confirmed by Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) on Wednesday, June 10. The tour includes three One-Day Internationals (ODIs) and three Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is), scheduled soon after the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 in England.
The ODI series is part of the ICC Women’s Championship 2025-29, making it important for both teams in their efforts to qualify for upcoming ICC events. Pakistan is currently second in the standings with eight points, having won four of their six matches. Sri Lanka is third, with four wins and two losses, also tallying eight points.
All six matches will take place at the Mahinda Rajapaksa International Cricket Stadium in Hambantota. The ODIs are set for July 23, July 25, and July 28, while the T20I matches will be held on July 31, August 2, and August 4.
Historically, the matches between these two teams have been competitive in the T20 format. They have played 21 Women’s T20 Internationals, with Pakistan winning 11 and Sri Lanka securing nine, while one match had no result. In ODIs, Sri Lanka has been more successful, winning 22 of the 34 encounters, compared to Pakistan’s 11 victories, with one ODI having no result.
Both teams are currently participating in the Women’s T20 World Cup 2026. Pakistan will begin their tournament against India on June 14 at Edgbaston, Birmingham, while Sri Lanka will play against host England at the same venue on June 12.
