Hardik Pandya is set to arrive at the BCCI Centre of Excellence on June 2 for a fitness check ahead of the upcoming ODI series against Afghanistan. He needs to complete fitness drills and match simulations over the next week to receive clearance to participate in the matches.
Additionally, former captain Rohit Sharma must also demonstrate his match fitness, but there are no updates on his schedule with the team at CoE.
As per TOI, the first ODI of the three-match series, which was initially set for June 14, will now take place on June 13. This match will be hosted at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamsala, following a one-off Test between the teams in New Chandigarh from June 6-10.
